Why Is a Mother-Child Bond So Special

The Miracle of Life nurtured by â woman who gave us love and sacrifice…MOTHER

The mother-child bonding is strongly cemented with mother’s love.I know most of you, including fathers and sons, can’t deny the bond between a mother and her child.
But do you know what makes this mother-child bonding so special? According to me, it’s a mother’s love for her child. Wouldn’t you agree?
Both physical and emotional factors influence the mother-child bonding process. “Antenatal bonding” – feeling connected to the unborn baby is an important predictor of the infant-mother relationship.

Your baby learns:

* What you sound like
* What you look like
* What you smell like
* You feed him when he's hungry
* You comfort him when he's upset
* You sometimes get sad or distracted
* You're funny
* You exist even when he can't see you
* The cuddle connection
* From smells to smiles
* The soothing solution
* Oxytocin
Production of oxytocin during lactation reduces stress
* Breastfeeding is also strongly believed to foster the bond, via touch, response and mutual gazing.
* To make sure your child grows up healthy and strong you take baby to the pediatrician for regular check-ups; vaccines.  But new research is showing that it strengthens your emotional bond with baby.

Mothers love and protection nurtures humanity. This Mother’s Day is a great opportunity for reflecting on a mother’s love for her child. With matchless comfort wishing you satisfied mother’s day!

This post is dedicated to my mother and to all you mothers out there -because YOU are special. And even if you aren’t a mother, I’m sure you can relate to it because you all have or had a mother.
